District Leaders AI Design Lab

Your leadership team has an AI decision in front of it. Rehearse the decision before you make it.

A 90-minute live virtual working session for one school or district leadership team, up to 12 people. Bring one AI question. We bring a fictional scenario and a design-thinking process to help your team stop circling and start working the decision.

Founding pilot: $2,400 per district team.

The problem

One AI question keeps moving from one meeting to the next.

A teacher asks what is allowed. A parent asks what happens to student information. Someone finds a new tool, somebody else finds a policy problem, and the question gets pushed to the next meeting.

The Design Lab gives the people who carry the decision a structured place to work through it together.

How the ninety minutes works

This is working time.

01 · Understand

Identify the people affected and the assumptions already in the room.

02 · Define

Name the real decision instead of solving the loudest version of it.

03 · Generate

Consider possible boundaries and the tradeoffs each one creates.

04 · Prototype

Build a draft decision card with an owner, missing evidence, and a next check.

05 · Test

Change a condition and see where the proposed boundary breaks.

06 · Commit

Name what your local review process needs to do next.

What your team leaves with

Something useful enough to carry into the next meeting.

Up to three draft decision cards

Each names a proposed boundary, a review-owner role, missing evidence, and the smallest useful next check.

A one-page cover note

We clean the cards after the session and return them with a concise summary.

One correction round

Your team can consolidate factual corrections before the package is final.

The cards support your local review process. They do not approve a product, replace legal or privacy review, or write district policy.

Who it is for

A cross-functional leadership team with one real decision.

A useful group may include instruction, technology, data and privacy, communications, professional learning, building leadership, and administration.

Common questions

Before you request a quote

Do we need a finished policy?

No. The lab is useful when a question is still moving. It does not produce or approve policy.

Can we evaluate a specific vendor?

No. This pilot focuses on one decision theme through a fictional scenario. It does not approve or evaluate products.

Will the session be recorded?

No recording is planned. That helps the group work candidly and keeps the session focused on the shared scenario.

What platform will we use?

We will confirm platform access, accessibility needs, and a fallback before scheduling.

Is a quote request a booking?

No. It asks us to confirm fit, scope, purchasing path, and a written quote before anything is scheduled.

If one AI question keeps circling your leadership table, tell us what it is.

Use one non-sensitive sentence. We will confirm whether the Design Lab fits and send a written quote.
